Echo Park is a district in Los Angeles northwest of downtown. It is east and southeast of Silver Lake, south of the Elysian Park, north of Westlake/Mac Arthur Park, west and northwest of Chinatown and southwest of Elysian Park. Echo Park itself consists of the neighborhoods of Echo Park( the area immediately surrounding the lake and extending approximately a mile north on Echo Park Avenue), Angelino Heights, Colton Hill, Edendale, Elysian Heights, Temple-Beaudry and Sunset Heights. Dodger Stadium lies just west of Echo Park, in Elysian Park. Echo Park is known for its historical value and staircase streets, but unfortunately parking is considered to be poor and there is limited parking available.
